NY State Police Apprehend Four Suspects Following Burglary & Pursuit

The New York State Police have arrested four suspects following a commercial burglary and vehicle pursuit that began in Dutchess County and ended in Westchester County.

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on March 18, 2025, Dutchess County 911 reported a commercial burglary in progress in the Town of Pleasant Valley. Responding units identified a stolen black Porsche, matching the suspect vehicle description.

New York State Troopers located the vehicle in the Town of East Fishkill on the Taconic State Parkway and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle fled southbound at a high rate of speed. Due to safety concerns and the loss of visual contact, the pursuit was terminated.

At 2:16 a.m., Troopers from SP Hawthorne spotted the suspect vehicle and successfully deployed a stinger device to disable it. Despite this, the vehicle continued traveling south before being located at the Exit 6 off-ramp. The suspects then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area.

State Police and a local K9 and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) units conducted a coordinated search. As a result of their efforts, all four suspects were located and taken into custody without further incident.

The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
