State Police in Lafayette NY Seeking Public's Assistance Identifying an SUV Striking a Pedestrian

On September 21, 2024, at about 8:31 p.m., State Police responded to 3232 US-11 in the town of Lafayette for reports of a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian. 

The preliminary investigation determined that 30-year-old Joshua D. Conway, of Syracuse, NY, was in the roadway talking to the driver of a vehicle on the driver's side when a dark-colored SUV struck him and fled the scene. 

Conway was taken to Upstate University Hospital with serious injury to his lower extremities.
