After a lengthy investigation into complaints of the sale and distribution of narcotics, Utica Police Special Investigations Unit investigators, along with members of the UPD Patrol Division, and Oneida County Sheriff Narcotics Unit, conducted a search warrant on the person, residence, and storage unit of Antonio Ware age 39 of 301 Elizabeth St.
During the execution of the warrant investigators located over 130g of cocaine, a loaded handgun, and over $14,000 in cash.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Ware was charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree x2 (weight, intent to sell)
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree
Other charges are being explored with the District Attorney’s Office
