On May 15th, 2024 at approximately 2:45 PM Utica Police units were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Barton Ave regarding a female who was claiming to have been shot at while attempting to retrieve property.
Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the victim who repeated the claim. Officers then set up a perimeter around the home and attempted to make contact with someone at the residence. Eventually, a male came to the front door, and while speaking with him another male attempted to flee out the back door. Based on the totality of the incident both males were detained and a protective sweep of the residence was undertaken to ensure that no injured parties were inside.
While inside they located a female who was detained per the investigation as well. Furthermore immediately upon entry, the officers noticed, in plain view, a long rifle and significant narcotics-related contraband.
Following the sweep, it was determined that a search warrant would need to be applied to attempt to locate the handgun, as well as the narcotics-related evidence.
The residence was secured and ultimately the warrant was signed and executed.
During the course of the search, the officers and investigators located a loaded 9mm handgun, a .22 long rifle, a replica pellet gun long rifle, various calibers of ammunition, cocaine, methamphetamine, numerous controlled substance pills, and a multitude of packaging, cutting agents, scales, and other drug paraphernalia.
This evidence was secured and transported to the Utica Police Department.

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree x2
Criminal Possession of a Firearm
Menacing in the second degree
Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree x2 (intent to sell methamphetamine, narcotics)
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 7th degree x2
Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia x2
Amanda Abraham age 30 of Utica:
