Body of Saugerties Man Recovered from Plattekill Creek
The preliminary investigation indicated that nearby residents observed a body in the Plattekill Creek and contacted first responders. The Mount Marion Fire Department retrieved the body from the water. The victim was later identified as Stanley Christopher Waldron, age 58, of Saugerties, NY, who exhibited obvious signs of death and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
