Utica, NY – Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. announced that the Oneida County Department of Planning, in collaboration with UP Development Planning LLC (Urban Planners), will present the County’s Housing Market Inventory Assessment and Strategy Report at a public meeting on March 13, 2025.
To ensure accessibility for all interested attendees, the report will be presented during two separate sessions:

🕠 Session 2: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
“Housing is a critical piece in preparing for the future of Oneida County,” said Picente. “It is essential to economic and community development, helping us attract new residents, support businesses, and enhance local communities. I encourage everyone to attend a session and learn how this strategy aims to strengthen our housing sector.”
Representatives from the Planning Department and Urban Partners will be present to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.

The Housing Inventory Assessment was commissioned in the Summer of 2023 to identify housing needs and gaps across the county. The goal of this first-of-its-kind strategic plan is to analyze market trends, workforce housing demands, and future projections to create a comprehensive roadmap for housing development in Oneida County.
