3 Arrested on kidnapping charge, investigation to continue in the town of West Chazy NY

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 8:42 a.m., State Police members were notified of an assault complaint that occurred on June 25, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., on Ashley Road, West Chazy, NY.  A preliminary investigation determined Blake C. Johnson, age 24, of Dannemora, NY, Travis W. Willis, age 47, of Dannemora, NY, Pamela A. Johnson, age 44, of Dannemora, NY, and an unidentified suspect kidnapped a victim from a residence. The victim was sleeping and awoken by a commotion outside of the residence. The victim heard individuals arguing over a motorcycle stored at the victim’s residence.  The victim opened the door to speak to B. Johnson, when doing so, two unknown males entered the residence assaulting the victim with their fists and feet. The victim was then blindfolded and taken from the residence unwillingly to another residence and assaulted again. The victim was brought to CVPH on June 26 sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.  The victim was treated and released from CVPH.

On June 27, 2024, State Police members consulted with the Clinton County District Attorney’s office regarding the charges:

Blake C. Johnson was charged with burglary 1st, kidnapping 2nd, assault 2nd, conspiracy 4th, and petit larceny.  He was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court where he was remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 secured bond.

Pamela A. Johnson was charged with Kidnapping 2nd and conspiracy 4th. She was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court where she was remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 secured bond.

Travis W. Willis was charged with Burglary 1st, kidnapping 2nd, assault 2nd, and conspiracy 4th.  He was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 secured bond.

This is an ongoing investigation.
