The Herkimer County Fair

The Herkimer County Fair is underway, promising the community another week of chills and good times. Opening ceremonies Tuesday really set the stage for a great kickoff for the annual event. This year's theme, "Saddle Up and Come on Down to the Fair", hints at a lively, yet unforgettable experience.

Visitors to the fair can look forward to a huge variety of attractions, such as adrenalin-packed rides, engaging games, and many other entertaining performances. If visitors get hungry, there are a host of appetizing foods available with the classic fare, so it is the right time to indulge in your culinary guilty pleasures.

In regards to their favorite part of the event, however, the fair-goers are really spoilt for choice. Others go on about the thrills of the rides, while others just can't seem to get enough of the mouth-watering fair cuisine. Animal lovers are also enchanted with the opportunity to engage and view the animals on display.

If one has not had the pleasure to enjoy all the fair offered, there is no need to worry since Herkimer County Fair will run all the way through to Sunday, August 18th. This provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to get involved and create fantastic memories.
