Troopers Recover Stolen Car & Owner’s Cute Dog

On August 6, 2023, at approximately 8:10 p.m., troopers from SP Auburn observed a vehicle that was previously reported stolen from the Waterloo Premium Outlet in the town of Junius, Seneca County. A traffic stop was conducted, and Charles A. Donato, age 45, of Fleming, NY, and Jay L. Garrigan Jr., age 41, of Auburn, NY, was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd (D Felony) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th (A Misdemeanor). Donato and Garrigan Jr. were transported to Cayuga County Jail for CAP Arraignment.

The recovered dog, “Glenn,” was in perfect health and was turned over to his owners on the scene, along with the vehicle.
